STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Our Strength & Conditioning area caters for up to 20 participants at a time.
We provide both group and individual Functional Fitness, Strength & Conditioning Sessions,
facilitated by our Australian Strength & Conditioning Accredited Coach.
YOUNG GUNS (8-17 years)
Our Young Guns S & C Program is based on each individual child’s strengths and weaknesses and based on their sport and/or goals. Each participant is tested on weeks 1 and week 8 and the program is adjusted accordingly. The program involves both functional strength prescriptions as well as aerobic and anaerobic prescriptions. Regression and progression prescriptions are applied when and where necessary throughout the 8-week program.

1 session per week - $20 includes S&C program
2 sessions per week - $35 includes baseline testing, S&C program, testing every 8 weeks & program adjustments
3 Sessions per week - $40 includes baseline testing, S&C program, testing every 8 weeks & program adjustments
10% discount for 2nd family member
20% discount for 3 or more family members

SATURDAY CIRCUIT 8:00am-9:30am
Saturday Circuit is a functional fitness session designed to improve whole-body functional strength, movement, and cardio, involving free weights, cardio machines, and more.

Whether you’re local or a team travelling to Newcastle and the Hunter for an event, SMR can cater for your sporting team. We can run a prime session, a stretch or stick mobility session and/or provide rehab and recovery with all our Recovery Modalities.

Performance Recovery Add-On (min 8 weeks)

For only $20 a week extra to your 8 weeks S & C program, you will receive:
10% off merchandise & consumables.
1 Free 30-min Infrared Sauna or Dynamic Compression a week
50% off 1 cryotherapy session a week
Total Value: $62.50
1 session a week, can be paid for each session.
2 and 3 sessions a week, payments to be made upfront in 8-week blocks.
All Athletes who do 2 and 3 sessions a week will receive a free shaker/drink bottle & Backpack on payment of their first block.
Sessions do not carry over; however, we will do our best to cater to those who are sick and give notice
