What does all the terminology actually mean?

There is so much information about how great infrared saunas are but what does it all mean?

Below we will make it as easy as we can for you.

True Wave

Is Trademark terminology used by Jacuzzi Clearlight Saunas. They use Full Spectrum heaters that are high output producing near, mid and far infrared. The Jacuzzi True Wave™ Full Spectrum heaters emit about 1/3 near infrared, 1/3 mid infrared and 1/3 far infrared.

Near Infrared

The shortest wavelength, and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalisation.

Mid Infrared

A longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation, releasing oxygen to reach injured areas.

Far Infrared

The longest wavelength which penetrates the fat cells causing vasodilation, where the fat cells vibrate to expel toxins, resulting in the greatest levels of detoxification and stimulate your metabolism to aid in weight-loss.

Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) are energy waves with frequencies below 300 hertz or cycles per second. The electromagnetic fields we encounter daily come from every day things such as power lines, radar and microwave towers, television and computer screens, motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, cell phones, electric blankets, house wiring and hundreds of other common electrical devices.

Extremely low frequency (ELF) radiation is at the low-energy end of the electromagnetic spectrum and is often referred to as the Electric Fields. The most common ELF field is radiated by utility power lines. You are exposed to these fields whenever you are near electrical appliances of any kind. (Jacuzzi Saunas are the lowest EMF & ELF on the market).

Colour Light therapy is a technique of restoring imbalance by means of applying colour to the body. Its history is rooted as far back as the Mayan culture.
